November 26,2023 Bridgetown, Barbados

We were up early for a ship sponsored excursion…a two site snorkel and then time on a beach in Carlisle Bay.

Veranda view shortly after docking.
Arrival at the beach prior to boarding our boat.
There he is…such a good sport…never says no…
.

We boarded the boat from the water…oh my goodness! When I realized that Timmy would have to walk across the sand and board a moving boat, I slightly freaked out. I ran ahead and told the crew who were assisting the boarding that Tim might need extra assistance. No worries! It wasn’t exactly easy, but he did it♥️

And here we are after our first snorkel … selfie credit to me🩵
After swimming with the turtles, we set out for the beach.
Some pretty sail boats in the bay.
Seems about right💙
My guy ♥️
See what Timmy did here?
The requisite Pina Colada
So freaking happy…
… and then I remember why I dislike ship excursions…waiting around til all the other folks mosey to the meeting point…and then waiting for transport to make its way to pick us up #islandtime
Okay, so I was really hungry…all that swimming.
My mom: “Never explain”…true quote.
Catching up with Sommelier John Arias…so wonderful to be sailing with him again…he joined the ship in San Juan.

No caption necessary.
I love that I don’t have to dress if I don’t want to😊 #socasual

So yummy.
Waygu beef, quail egg and beef consume
Teeny tiny egg
Pan seared snapper with lobster ravioli…beyond delicious.
