We sailed into the port of Olbia, Sardina to blue skies and some cool ferries.

💙
This Superman ferry was delightful to behold.
More ferries.

We cancelled our winery tour and stayed on board. I’m sorry to have missed Sardinia, but we’ve realized that we just do not have the stamina for day after day touring…and we do love sea days. We slept in (becoming quite a habit), had coffee in our room and spent the rest of the morning lazing about. Then we headed to Tastes for lunch.

Burger with blue cheese and bacon.
I made my own affogato.
After lunch Timmy took a nap and I read by the pool.
Petar concocted a yummy drink for Tim.
Dinner was fabulous…I’m only going to include dessert.
Carlos after dinner.

ROME

The first leg of our back to back cruise ended in Rome. We met up with Mary Jean Tully in the Bistro, said our goodbyes, then I had my first Portuguese tart of the cruise.

Timmy and Mary Jean.
Cappuccino and a tart.
As we were eating breakfast, we were joined by a special Crystal friend. IYKYK
From our veranda as we left for dinner.

As the sun began to set, we headed off to Umi Uma.

As we walked to our seats, I captured this photo

That’s some mushroom.
Chocolate soufflé cake.
Whiskey cappuccino for me.

Turn around day is enjoyable for us because we get to observe all the excitement of new arrivals. It never ceases to amaze me the way that Crystal crew are always “on” …one group of guests leaves, another arrives, and the crew smiles on, and on…greeting everyone with “welcome home”. These folks work incredibly hard to ensure that every guest is happy. We are so grateful to them. And I am grateful to you, for following along with us. ♥️
