This was our third visit to Santorini. On our previous visits we rented cars and toured the Island – visiting wineries, beaches and Oia. This time we decided to get off Crystal and day sail around the Island. We were blessed with an absolutely beautiful day. I woke just in time for sunrise.

Sun peaking behind Santorini.
Tenders heading toward Symphony.
We were off the ship and on the tender by 8:30 am.
Not sure about the context here…however the sign is at the base of the mountain…

Symphony from halfway up the mountain.
We set out from Vlichada…it’s a small fishing marina…and home of Caldera Yachting.

I honestly have no idea why I have such an affinity for the sea. All I know is that my brain is flooded with dopamine in anticipation of being at sea, flooded with dopamine when I’m looking at the sea, and absolutely overflowing with dopamine when I’m sailing on the sea.
Anyway… we met our Captain Vassilis and mates Gyulash and Sabrina and boarded our catamaran.

Gyulash doing his thing.
A cool secluded beach.

Looks like lots of other folks are out enjoying the day too.

It seemed like the coastline changed by the minute.
Blue on blue on blue.
We were thinking about anchoring here, but simply did a sail by.

My guy.

Loving the striations.
Can’t escape the churches.
A parade 💙

A kindred spirit.
Really?
When they said a barbecue lunch…I thought we were going to cook it on a beach…
Very yummy💙
The water temperature was refreshing

“Hey Timmy! Take my photo”
Dopamine flooding…
Heading back.

Back at the marina.
Symphony from the funicular. I only had one chance to take this shot. #nailedit

We returned to the ship and lazed on our veranda through sunset… there might have been some canapés involved, perhaps even some wine, but I will spare you the food pics and share these instead. #youarewelcome
