Timmy and I love sea days, and this is our first “official” sea day since we boarded 10 days ago. We slept in and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of coffee and pastries on the veranda.

Coffee and pastries.
My guy💙
We stayed on the veranda for quite a while, as the weather was perfect.

Just before 11:00 am, we headed off to Tastes for the “Late Risers” breakfast. It really doesn’t count as a second breakfast if the only photo evidence is an empty coffee cup.

This is Nicolae.

As we were leaving, Nicolae pointed to the table and said “Mrs. Buckley, you are leaving something behind”. I look back and don’t immediately see what he’s talking about.

Ah yes…the lipstick on my cup💗

We puttered around the ship looking for trouble… then Tim returned to the cabin and I walked on deck 7 for about an hour…then I went to the gym. Which was pretty much empty.

Captains reception and Crystal Society party.

The Crystal Society party was well attended with a buzzy, festive vibe. We met an absolutely wonderful couple at the reception and decided to join them for dinner. Some Crystal folks lament the demise of “fixed seating”…they prefer the same table, time, waitstaff and dining mates each evening…Timmy and I were never big fans. Some folks prefer the liveliness of dining in a group…I’m not really good at small talk and we genuinely enjoy each others’ company….That being said, we do on occasion like to dine with new (and old) friends. We had a smashing evening with Clive and Michele, who are long time Crystalites.

That’s Michele and me♥️…sometimes you just “click” with a person…

After dinner we repaired to the Cove for our Carlos “fix”. He is so talented and such a lovely human. The bonus on this evening? A guest appearance by Anna♥️

All in all a super day. Thanks for following along ♥️
