I would like to wake up to this view every morning please.

And then step into this view:

.

Where are we headed at 9:35 am?

That’s Chelsea…she came by to check on us…We are fine, actually we are perfick…

Okay, so when we return …we are coming by boat…look at all that luggage…no 25 lb limit on the boat! I do love the helicopter ride in…but I seriously have n o t h i n g to wear. Nothing. And Timmy has 25 shirts on hangers…that he brought from home.

We lingered over breakfast counting eagles…we gave up trying to capture them on video and just gave into the zen of it all. Back at our place, I left Timmy to his own devices…that would be trying to figure out how to take a photo of his seals through the eye of the binoculars.

My Achilles tendon is killing me today so I’m not hiking at all…instead I’m intent on spending some time at the Island Currents Spa…also a 4 minute walk from our cabin. But first I passed through our living room… we literally have not spent 1minute there.
Love these flowers outside our door…and I passed the indoor tennis center on my way.

The Spa Entrance

Michelle greeted me warmly…we confirmed my Friday treatments and I stepped into heaven…
”The Water Journey”
According to the Spa Brochure the Water Journey starts with the purification of the body and concludes with the relaxation of the mind…

There’s like seven steps…beginning with a shower, then a Sauna or Steam…

Move on to the Swiss Shower…
Then the Warm Mineral Pool…another Swiss shower…the Hot Tub…another Swiss Shower…the Cool Mineral Pool…then Rest.

So yeah, the sign says “cool” mineral …its actually a freezing cold mineral pool…whatever…I’m bouncing between the warm mineral pool and the hot tub…totally skipping the Swiss Shower…it looks intriguing…but I’m going to need Timmy to figure it out.
So from left to right…the warm mineral pool, the cold plunge, the hot tub…which was beyond wonderful for my heel #hydrotherapy.

Can you believe it? I’m the only person here.
Here’s a quick 360 video…

I have totally mastered the last step…the resting part. I really was in heaven…I spent a few hours then headed back to Timmy.

i
Brought out some snacks and lost count of the seals and eagles.
Trust me…so many seals and a crazy amount of eagles.

So yes that’s me…wine, chips and cookies…not a healthy morsel in sight.

So these pics are Tim’s before and after using his binocular technique.

About 5:00 pm, Timmy went in for a nap and I got out a healthy snack…took a few more pics and a video…
Beyond adorable

Shadows are now creeping over our deck…probably time to go in, wake Tim and get ready for dinner…
u

I like to take the same photo each night as we walk to dinner.

We stopped at the bar and I had the drink of the day…Raspberry Margarita with black salt
Timmy had a special request…Tequila, Elderflower, lime and a splash of Mezcal…it’s called The Raincheck on Crystal.

When our table was ready, Jenna brought our drinks out…lucky us! The same table where we had breakfast.

Amuse = salmon, dried prawn and Timmy claims: fermented mango…I tasted peaches…regardless..it was super yummy.

Beetroot and Walnut bread..Crème fraiche with spring peaches

Crab bisque …exquisite

Between courses Geo suggested that she take our photo because the sky is so beautiful

Then she took a selfie…this young woman is beyond special…I love her.

Tim chose Roasted Fraser Valley Chicken with lemon cavatelli and fennel

My salmon with arugula purée and asparagus ..these entrees were spectacular- so flavorful.

And as if the day couldn’t get any better? Chef brought out his colleague Rob. Rob! We were so happy to see Rob. Rob was here two years ago…working the outdoor kitchen and making us yummy pizza.

Dessert was from the tasting menu…beignets, raspberries and two other really yummy items…can’t remember what though. You should know…this dessert was wonderful. ♥️

We popped in to say good night to Geo and Lucas. Warmth and hospitality exudes from these two.

As we stepped back out onto the deck…we were graced with this sky for our walk back to the cabin. So freaking lucky.

Again we lingered on our deck for a bit before calling it a night. Thanks so much for following along ♥️🦅♥️
