We woke to stormy, rainy weather in Valencia…our last port of call. We canceled our lunch reservation at a favorite restaurant – Navarro…and spent the morning packing.

Andrei brought us coffee and we said our goodbyes. Andrei enhanced our stay on Symphony in immeasurable ways and we will miss him tremendously. I cannot tell you how happy it made me to see his smiling face every morning.

Just before sail away the skies cleared…

There goes the pilot boat.

We were glad to have one last chat with Marli.

We were in the Cove at 5:50 pm because we wanted a front row seat…

Gordon Porth and Carl Wishneusky gave a spectacular performance “Four Hands, One Piano”.

.

Our last dinner was bittersweet…especially since we knew that this would be Ramazan’s last contract with Crystal. After 10+ years on Symphony, Ramazan decided it was time to be home with his wife and three sons in Türkiye.

October 12,2025 Barcelona

We skipped coffee in our room, I took a quick photo and we were off the ship at 8:50 am, we collected our luggage, met our driver and were in the airport at 9:20…no traffic at all.

One last look on a quiet Sunday.

Check-in was easy and after a very, verrrrry long walk…we were in the lounge and enjoying cappuccinos.

Had to walk through the “store” on our way to the gate…

Lunch was fine.

.

We landed in the midst of a Nor’easter…some turbulence…not really awful.

Relieved to be back on terra firma ♥️

Back home it took us five days before we were fully acclimated. Felt like I was in a slow motion video. For the first time ever, it took me three days to get through the laundry. Traveling at age 74 really isn’t the same as traveling at 54. That being said, we had a terrific time…Barcelona was captivating as always, Morocco was remarkable and we loved every port we visited, especially Cadiz and Lisbon. The highlight, as always…our time on Symphony with the wonderful crew. Thanks for following along 🩵🩵🩵
