We woke to blue clouds and invited MaryMae and Reymalen, our suite attendants in to thank them for taking such great care of our room. As I told Herbert, Crystal’s Hotel Director…they are like Ninjas …we never see them and the room is always perfick.

.

Mili brought us our last breakfast of the Voyage…Tim’s cereal…then he helped me with my blueberry pancakes. Why, you may ask, is Timmy wearing his cocktail shirt in the morning? Because it’s Mili’s favorite shirt. 🩵
I left Tim to begin packing his things and set off for Fisherman’s Wharf…
My walk took me through the terminal and as I followed a path along the waterfront, I came upon these chairs and table …perfickly positioned to watch the comings and goings of ships entering port or perhaps a beautiful sunset.

It was a lovely coolish (63 degrees) 12 minute walk to the park.

I love Fisherman’s Wharf…all the cool float homes…you really cannot call them house boats. I walked along the docks snapping away.

This restaurant was here two years ago and when I posted the pic, I captioned it “IYKYK”…because we spent the first 3 winters of our retirement in Puerto Vallarta. Hard to believe no one got the reference…whatever.

Please look carefully at this adorable home…compare the two pics…Timmy worked his magic and eliminated the bystanders. Also, hard to see, but there are mannequins on the top balcony.

I left the docks and walked back through the sweet little park.

As I passed by this planter, I did a double take and stopped …the bouquet was arresting. I snapped a pic to remind me of the sweetness. Isn’t it interesting how some roses have a really strong scent and others …none at all? This one was amazing.

Last lunch in Marketplace …pasta and salad for me…French fries for Tim.

I spent a miserable 1.5 hours packing…I wanted to separate out the clothes that we will be taking to Sonora from the clothes we will need for the day and a half in Vancouver…keeping in mind that I am limited to one 25 lb bag …(are you freaking kidding me …25 lbs?) Two years ago when we stayed at Sonora, I wished I’d brought warmer casual clothes …so I’m trying to balance that with Timmy telling me that the weather forecast says mid 70s. Plus my “products” weigh a ton…I know, I know… I’m going to the wilderness …why do I need “products” ?

I had a Mai Tai…Caparinha for Timmy. We enjoyed listening to Leandro in the Cove…I gave him our friend Bill’s best regards and Tim snapped this pic to send to Bill.

The sky put on a show as we sailed along. I loved my seafood strudel, Tim his beef consommé.

My roasted carrot soup with ginger and fettuccine al tartufo were so yummy.

Tim’s pork tenderloin in a bread coat with endive.

So I was taking one last pic with Alonso and John jumped in too.
We are really going to miss them both so much.

Last sunset=Best sunset

CJ Marvin is such a talent…we love his shows.

CJ had a surprise for us…Dan Davies joined him on stage. It’s Dan’s birthday…Vicky gave Dan a cake, CJ gave him several presents…then they both gave the audience a real gift…
Thirty seconds of the best energy.

Such a wonderful way to conclude this terrific cruise. Every day was a joy…we saw some cool wildlife…dolphins, whales, otters, eagles…maybe a bear, a teeny tiny goat. Both glacier visits were thrilling. But what made this cruise so extra were our experiences with the crew.
We still have tomorrow morning, so maybe I’ll wax poetic then. Thanks for following along 🩵

Thanks for another wonderful post and for saying hi to Leandro for me. Did I miss a description of your upcoming Sonora visit? 25 lb limit?? I don’t think it’s Sonora, CA. Maybe Sonora Mexico? Can’t wait to find out!

Ahhh Bill…I do get ahead (or is it behind) myself…going to Sonora Resort… it is off the coast of BC…a lodge in the wilderness…amazing scenery and eagles and bears and salmon fishing. Crystal like hospitality.
