December 20,2025 At sea on Serenity.
We woke to the calmest sea and the bluest sky.
As Timmy was plotting our location, he discovered that we are sailing in the Sargasso Sea. According to ChatGPT “the Sargasso Sea is a floating, living ecosystem—an oceanic oasis defined by motion around it rather than land beneath it.” Let me interpret that …The Sargasso Sea is surrounded by currents…creating very calm seas.
After breakfast, I walked in the gym…Timmy got a start on packing…then we met our friend Bill for lunch in Trident.

Our balcony was really warm in the full sun, so I decamped to the aft deck…just me and the sea.
Sunset came early…I want to say shortly after 5:00…
Just two other couples in the Cove at 7:45…it’s nice to be able to find seating, but I do miss the liveliness of the first cruise.
