We are at sea today…some wind and some swells, so we had our pastries in our cabin.
I spent some time on the blog…Starlink was cranky…so WordPress was cranky…anyway I eventually made my way to the gym. And that was its own experience…rocking and rolling on the treadmill. At least I had a lovely view.
Back on the balcony, I read, caught up on correspondence and actually made an eye doctors appointment online…which surprised me given the difficulty I experienced earlier.
I relaxed in a semi awareness state…I’d read a paragraph, close my eyes…reread the paragraph …drift off again…so yes, heaven.
Last formal evening of the cruise…
We enjoyed watching folks dancing in Palm Court.
I popped out on the pool deck for sunset…
Another member of Crystal royalty was recognized for a significant milestone …
Captain Birger spoke …I really, really love him.
Jim, Rob, and Timmy…classic gentlemen, classic moment.
We dined with Hubert Buelacher, Serenity’s Hotel Director and three lovely fellow guests. Hubert is beyond charming and tells the best stories…including one involving Caspar Weinberger, a late night party and a laundry basket…
Darrell Joyce in the Galaxy…delightfully funny…like very, very funny…after the events of this weekend…it was a wonderful relief to just laugh and laugh.
