We woke to this view, enjoyed coffee in our room…

We were early for our excursion, Timmy found a bench and I set off in search of postcards…

These waters might LOOK calm…let me assure you…they were not…on our first snorkle, at the Kittywake ship wreck, the current was so strong…Let’s just say…that snorkel taught me a lesson in humility. I skipped the fins and the vest (why? …no clue), anyway…the current made sure I remembered that was a very bold—and not very smart—choice. I was beyond exhausted when we finally made our way back on board. Here’s a quick video as we optimistically entered the sea…please note…there were no other videos from this snorkel…we were fighting for our lives against the roiling sea…
Our next Snorkle site was in much shallower water…no real current …and way more fun…but the most fun? The slide…there were quite a few folks on the catamaran, but only three of us rode the slide into the sea…yay…more turns for me…I did Snorkle a bit …but returned to the slide …over and over…so much FUN.
Back on board, we showered and collapsed and then Rex, our wonderful butler, brought us a great pick-me-up. We enjoyed sail away and stayed on the balcony forever…resting and recuperating…well I was recuperating…Timmy was fine.
Finally we got it together and headed off to dinner…which was delightful…not just because it was yummy…but at 8:30 pm Waterside was calm.

Timmy couldn’t choose, so he enjoyed both the coconut/pineapple sorbet and dark chocolate tart with coffee ice cream. Hey! We are on vacation 🩵
No show or late night visit to the Avenue Saloon for us…too tired…being old(er) can be less than delightful…
Before I fell asleep I snapped a pic of the wall next to my bed…looks like Mission Control for a very glamorous space shuttle—my spreadsheets…dinner… excursions…spa appointments …my attempt to stay on top of all the fun. And today was truly a fun day. Thanks for following along 🩵🩵🩵
