Waiting for our driver to fetch and deliver us to JFK. We have an 8:30 pm flight on IcelandAir. Yep, after 20 months, we have decided to resume our adventures and resurrect this travel blog. I posted about our summer 2020 and our Pandemic Project last week…but I’m still rusty…so bear with me. Word Press has instituted several changes since March of 2020. I think I’ll like the changes, once I figure them out. (I’ve forgotten how to pin our location on the map😢…or the method has been changed…or I no longer have the capability-yikes!).
We’ll spend three days in Reykjavik before we board Crystal Cruises’ brand new expedition ship: the Endeavor. We are looking forward to some fun activities in Reykjavik and excited to participate in the inaugural voyage of what looks to be a magnificent ship. Fingers crossed that the volcano will still be active. If you are just now hearing about this latest eruption on Iceland…check it out on YouTube. The first date of reported activity was on March 19 this year. Also anticipating sampling Icelandic cuisine.
