We woke early to clouds and sun…what is wrong with us???? Sea days are for sleeping in.

The laundry room was empty so I washed some things..laundry is complimentary on this cruise…but I like to wash some things myself…and the laundry room is close to our stateroom.

We made tea and enjoyed it on the balcony while waiting for Rex, our Butler …

…Then we had first breakfast…

…before we headed to the Trident Grill for “Late Risers” breakfast…

♥️🎄🎄♥️

We spent the afternoon on the pool deck…found a nice shady spot near DJ Adam, who was “Spinning the Hits” …Timmy watched Ohio State beat Michigan on his phone and we might have had some ice cream…but with out photographic proof…probably didn’t happen.

We were out and about way earlier than we like to be..but it was for a good reason…there was a 5:45 pm Cruise Critic meetup in the Palm Court…it was great to put faces to names that we’ve “known” for years…

Here’s Timmy with Rob and Jim…just delightful folks. Many thanks to Larry and Monica for hosting 🩵
After our meetup, we headed down to the Cove for the best part of the day… drinks and dinner with Pam and Tom…once again, I was so excited to be reunited with Pamela that we failed to take photos in the Cove…

…We began dinner with a cheese course, selected by Raffaele…our head waiter…beyond yummy…as soon as he told us the names of the cheeses…right out of our heads…that’s Timmy choosing his cheese from the shared plate…don’t want you thinking he ate all that cheese AND dinner😉

Seafood and asparagus appetizer.

The best work friend and colleague I ever had… and I’ve had some amazing, wonderful colleagues.

Tom and Tim reconnecting…Pamela and Tom live on the East Coast of Florida…we are seriously thinking of making the (winter rental) jump from Longboat to their community in 2027…but that’s a long way off and as a friend often says “we are at the stage in life that we don’t buy green bananas”.

Mahi-Mahi…delicious

Tom had this chocolate trifle …

After a wonderful time…Pam and Tom set off for some dancing and we enjoyed James Fox doing his terrific Billy Joel show.
This Sea Day really was a perfick day. Thanks for following along 🩵🩵🩵
