I love this hotel and especially the harbor views. We slept late and went down to breakfast around 10:00.

It’s Sunday, and Timmy always has eggs on Sunday…also bacon and an English muffin, along with a tiny apple strudel and chocolate croissant. We enjoyed watching the ebb and flow of humanity…folks leaving their cruises and others heading into the terminal.

I had smoked salmon, cheddar cheese, croissants and watermelon.

After breakfast I set out on a walk along the waterfront.

.

Perfick walking weather…

So cool these folks were painting with an instructor.

When I got to Stanley Park I turned around.

This fellow was crabbing …he was the nicest man…agreed to me taking his photo.

I’m sad I didn’t get his name…he took the time to explain to me that this crab was a male and pretty old too…because he has barnacles on his back…a definite keeper.

On the way back to our room, I took a pic of the sidewalk where I twisted my ankle yesterday. Also took a photo of the very cool steamer in our room …way better than an iron. And finally, a last view of the harbor.

.

Just as we were leaving, I heard drums, looked down and snapped this pick of some folks protesting human organ harvesting in China. Believe it or not..Tim could read one of their banners.

It’s honestly embarrassing the amount of luggage we have…like ridiculously embarrassing.

Anyway we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Fairmont Waterfront…the room was super, both dinner and breakfast-very yummy, and to a person…the staff were professional and most hospitable.

We are so looking forward to the next chapter of our Pacific Northwest adventure. Thanks for following along💙
