December 10,2025 Bonaire

We are docked in downtown Kralendijk…
Breakfast was a joy…the temperature was perfick…low 80s, low humidity, gentle breeze.
We stayed on the balcony watching our fellow passengers come and go along the pier. Then we set out on a Crystal shore excursion- a catamaran snorkel. The catamaran was docked right next to Serenity which allowed me to snap a photo as we passed her on our way to the first snorkle site.
We did a drift Snorkle …which was wonderful because we just floated along with the current…no effort involved …and the boat followed us.
That’s me … I love the full face snorkel…we were talking to someone who had a similar snorkel and he said it was a game changer…it really is. The seal is perfect…breathing is effortless and no mouthpiece involved.
Our second snorkeling session took place close to a famous dive spot…we were anchored. Some folks snorkeled, some jumped off the top deck, some like me, used the slide. There was also a nice blue and yellow raft for floating above the sea.
The catamaran crew were such a delightful group…knowledgeable, super helpful and as a team a walking postcard for Bonaire…clearly they love their home and represent it well.
We returned shortly before 6:00 pm, got cute and headed off to the near empty Cove around 7:30.
So, yes, another White Party …

I said the Cove was empty…what a difference from one cruise to the next…
We asked Leandro, Crystal’s piano player to join us in Umi Uma…
Leandro, a wonderful pianist, is from Argentina and very, very charming…

At one point we looked up and there was Jose…
Jerreck our server bringing me my green tea…
The White Party was well attended…the band was tight…Karin brought the energy.

Adam took over from the band …the party was still going strong at 11:00 when we oldsters returned to our cabin.
