Symphony spent the day sailing from Morocco to Lisbon. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony, late breakfast in Trident, lunch in Marketplace, afternoon Tea in the Palm Court and dinner in Waterside. And had a very relaxing day in between…

I love, love the salad offerings in Marketplace place.

Sailing down the Tagus river was delightful.

That’s the April 25 bridge…look familiar?

At 3:30 we headed up to the Palm Court for afternoon Tea Time. Both Crystal ships offer Tea every afternoon. Normally we would have enjoyed the sail in from our balcony, but Fernando was offering commentary during the beautiful sail in.

Fernando De Oliveira is the Chairman’s and Brands Ambassador for Abercrombie &Kent and Crystal Cruises. He’s also a wonderful human and very, very charming. Oh, and he knows a lot about Portugal. 😊

.

The view from deck 12…Palm Court …offers a slightly different perspective than our deck 9 balcony.

Here’s our balcony view after we docked.

Also from the balcony…looking East.

.

We stayed in our room for this special sunset.

.

That pink afterglow was everything.

Timmy’s Port Tonic…my Mai Tai

The frozen yogurt desserts are so yummy…I often wonder if they really are yogurt…like the Seinfeld episode.

The evening’s entertainment featured a show opening performance by lead vocalist James Burn. This was James’ last Crystal performance after eight years of performing on board.

There was also an encore performance by Debbie Wileman…what an incredible talent…we missed her first show …and deeply regret it..rest assured we will never miss another…she is the real deal.

So a very relaxing day on this beautiful ship…thanks for following along🩵
