September 26, 2025 Barcelona
We slept until 9 am when Andrei, our butler brought us coffee. Just coffee. No first breakfast in the cabin on this voyage…at least that’s the plan for now.
So I was on the balcony and saw this ship coming in…I called to Timmy that I thought I had spied a naval vessel.

First (but not only) breakfast in Trident…that’s Dmitryi…second half of Hanna and Dmitryi…such a great team🩵
Mili showing us that the “low fat” granola cereal has 240 calories…regular cereal…100 less calories.
Second breakfast in the Bistro…I snagged the last Portuguese tart. 😊
Early afternoon found me on the pool deck…I lasted about 7.5 minutes in the sun, before I moved to a shady spot.
After a while, I laced up to do a few laps on the Promenade deck..after two laps, I moved to the gym…
This ship was idling and the smell was not compatible with breathing …
The treadmill was fine… 8500 steps and I headed back to the cabin to freshen up
Five thirty found us at our muster station for the safety drill.
The Cove was SRO at 7:45 pm…I think it’s good that Crystal is going to expand the seating space during dry dock.
Margarita and Mojito…who had which drink?
Inga Marcel is a delightful violinist…plays so beautifully and you can actually have a conversation when she’s playing. There’s a certain violinist…who when we see her in the Cove pre-dinner…we turn around and head for Palm Court. Way too strident for us.

A very yummy Shiraz…full bodied and dense…the finish is smooth and easy…I had so many sips of Timmy’s …Anton (new Sommelier) asked if I wanted my own glass.

We throughly enjoyed CJ Marvin’s tribute to Elton John…and then were so sad when Shane announced that this was CJ’s last show on Crystal…he’s leaving for a residency in a casino in Macao. Shane toasted CJ, CJ said a few parting words and very graciously praised the Crystal Showband. It was touching.
Upon returning to our room we saw the following on our TV:
This is wonderful as we planned to add to next years voyages anyway. #winwin
